What is the ACT?
The ACT is an entrance exam used at most colleges and universities. It is a multiple choice test in four areas:
English
Mathematics
Reading
Science
A writing section of the test is also offered; Prism students are not required to take this section of the test.
All Prism students in the 11th and 12th grade are required to take the ACT test at least once in the 11th grade and at least once in the 12th grade.
In the 12th grade, we recommend taking it twice to improve scores.
When to Sign Up
12th Grade Students need to take the test before November 1, 2023.
11th Grade Students need to take the test before March 1, 2023.
